Lego Study Recommends Ways for Lego to Avoid More Layoffs

The Linda Christas College Doctoral Program has begun a case study aimed at assisting Lego to change its corporate culture so the Company can maintain its number one position in the marketplace. Ways for Lego to overcome the inevitable insular temptations of a market leader are discussed. Very interesting.

Lego needs to go back to the clean crisp ideas it had in the 80's before the toys turned toward "attitude."

No reason Lego can't stay on top with the revenue and growth to match.

Lego needs to be consistent. They were the best in the 1980's when I was growing up, and when I buy for my children now, I want that same spirit to be reflected in the sets I buy. I cannot justify purchasing sets with violence and negativity involved.
I would immediately purchase a set of BrickSpeak speakers with the Lego logo on them. Oh wait! I've already got a paid with the ToysPeriod BrickSpeak logo on them. If BrickSpeak will allow Lego in, my recommendation (who am I) would be for Lego to acquire the rights.
